The Stardust is a classic, landmark casino-hotel located at the north end of the Strip, convenient to the Las Vegas Convention Center. This bastion of "old school Vegas" was featured prominently in the film "Swingers", and proudly hosts "Mr. Las Vegas" himself - Wayne Newton, who performs in his own theater. While Mr. Newton performs 40 weeks out of the year, the Stardust hosts an impressive lineup of entertainment, including the likes of Don Rickles, Harvey Korman, and Chicago during the remaining weeks. The spacious casino at the Stardust is still a busy one, complete with a poker room. The Stardust's race & sports book is one of the best anywhere, as well as being the very first inside a Vegas casino-hotel.
All of the Stardust's 1,500 rooms and suites are just a few steps away from the casino, restaurants, showroom, shops, hotel lobby and recreation area. Deluxe rooms are stylishly furnished and decorated. Furnishings include an armoire with color TV, a dining table with two chairs, floor and table lamps, and a vanity table with a chair and mirror. All bathrooms have a standard tub and shower combination. There are eight different restaurants to choose from onsite, and guests will always find one open at any hour. For recreation, there is an expansive pool area, which offers two outdoor pools (one of them Olympic- size) and two waterfall spa pools.
